Outreach Opportunities
Come join us for an outreach in Tonga!
One of the primary focuses of the University of the Nations Tonga is to host YWAM outreach teams from various schools and locations around the world.
Our full time missions staff and students also go on short-term outreaches to outer islands of Tonga, and to the nations!
At YWAM Tonga, our staff and students are given unique opportunities to step beyond the classroom and into real-life ministry through short-term mission trips and outreaches. These mission adventures allow them to put their faith into action, serving others while deepening their walk with God.
Each outreach is different—sometimes the focus is evangelism, boldly sharing the Good News with those who have never heard, while at other times it’s mercy ministry, offering practical help and compassion to those in need. Our teams also have the privilege of visiting isolated Christians on tiny, far-off Tongan islands, bringing encouragement, fellowship, and the reminder that they are not forgotten.
Every trip is both an adventure and a calling, shaping lives and expanding the Kingdom of God.
Past Outreaches
In 2025 we have been blessed to host outreach teams from Fiji, New Zealand, Hawaii, and Samoa.
These teams were comprised of a variety of different people who love God and come from different church denominations, different cultural backgrounds, and different ages!
Current Outreaches
We are very proud of our D.T.S. students and 2 staff who have gone this month on a missions outreach. They are bringing the hope of the Good News to a remote village in Fiji.
We have also sent a Music for Missions team from our campus this month to villages in Fiji. They are teaching basic music lessons and discipleship classes at another YWAM location in Fiji!
